Who is PTE? Definitely not your typical digital marketing agency.

PTE Designs, originally short for “Ph34r The Elite Designs”, was first conceptualized in the late ’90s by a teenager obsessed with the movie Hackers.

Our then CEO, was an autodidact who, in elementary school, gravitated toward computers and their ability to “log on” to something new and intriguing called the internet.

Our founder is the epitome of a growth hacker, rooted back to the early dial-up days of America Online, where he was also part of the pre-Y2K generation that sparked the internet’s mass marketing revolution.

At the age of 13, he started “coding” pages in Microsoft Notepad after becoming fascinated by the internet and its tri-colored webpages (white background, black text, and blue hyperlinks).

After discovering software (commonly referred to as “warez” back then) like Frontpage, his websites were unknowingly being “optimized” and found by “web surfers” who searched relatable terms on sites like Alta Vista, Yahoo, and other early search engines.

Oblivious to what he was actually doing, he was unwittingly optimizing his hideous web pages for search engines. He was literally doing SEO when, at the time, there was no term for it. He soon realized he had the power to reach the masses with a few clicks of the mouse, and the rest, as they say, is history.
